Urban Armor #3: Miss My Face

Miss-My-Face is the third piece in Urban Armor, a series of speculative and absurd wearable electronics which investigate technological and personal boundaries in public space.

Miss-My-Face uses infrared LEDs, commonly used in CCTV cameras, to create a ring of light around the wearer's face, obscuring them from the camera's view. Miss-My-Face can be turned on directly, or it can turn on automatically using a wireless frequency detector, which you can see in the second half of the video.
