"The Auto Filter" is a scarf with a built-in pollution sensor. The scarf will automatically cover the face of the wearer when it senses urban pollutants such as alcohol, cigarettes and car exhaust. The scarf is the first in a series of absurd wearable electronics for women exploring boundaries between bodies, technology and personal/public space. Tutorials for works in this series can be found at urbanarmor.org
